When I think of wantan mee with cracklings,
When I see koayteow soup top with mushrooms,
When I have boiled chicken rice and when I smell
The aroma of durians, oranges, mangoes and bananas,
I think of you.
When I realize that it's time for a run,
When I remember for a cooling down,
By stretching arms and swinging hands and when I remember
There's always a treat after the jog,
I think of you.
Whenever I'm on my way to school,
Whenever I see grey honda cars,
Whenever I sit on my A16 chair,
No matter you do show up or don't,
I think of you.
When it's the third Sunday of June,
When I see belts and ties replace flowers and ribbons,
When I heard people talking about celebration
And they changed their profile photos with man
I think of you.
When I pass by the lane with greenery,
When I set my journey to anywhere,
When I know that something's gonna happen after eight years from now,
I think of you.
